Good day! I would like to share the 3G network from my iPad 2 to my Xperia Ray phone. So, I used PdaNet app on iPad2 for sharing. But my Xperia Ray always could not find the SSID of iPad2. After searching some discussed thread, someone says PdaNet app shared network by Ad-Hoc.
I tried http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1253087 steps on my Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray, but it seems not work. The WIFI could not see any AP after the modification (It could see some APs before the modification).
Does anyone enabled the ad-hoc on Ray ,arc S ,mini successfully?
Information of Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray: Module number: ST18i Android version: 2.3.4 Version: 4.0.2.A.0.42
Description of attached files: "wpa_supplicant.conf” = /system/etc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf "wpa_supplicant.conf2” = /data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf
And these are the file I modified: "wpa_supplicant.conf_m” = /system/etc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf "wpa_supplicant.conf2_m” = /data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf
The permission of files: /system/etc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf is rw-r--r-- data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf is rw-rw-r--
Or if there some other solution for sharing iPad2 3G network by infrastructure mode not Ad-Hoc mode?
